Game Developer in Hot Water for “Tea-bagging” Female Journalist

4

A game developer’s career is in peril after he accidentally “virtually tea-bagged” a female gaming journalist during a pre-release game demo.

The unnamed developer was showing off a demo of his upcoming game at Pax East, when he team-killed the woman in-game, and then proceeded to celebrate by having his character squat up and down on her character’s digital corpse. If you’re thinking, “why is this news?”, you are not alone in that reaction.

It’s news, sadly, because the female journalist has filed a written complaint with the man’s employer, and tweeted an informal summary of the “virtual rape” to her many virtue-signaling followers, which could lead to pressuring the studio into terminating the developer’s employment.

The journalist who was virtually victimized by this simulated sex act is Amanda Farough, a self-professed feminist who once worked for Mic, a social justice newsmag. It is unknown who she is employed by now, or what outlet she was covering the demo for.

She tweeted from her unsurprisingly verified account: ‘I said out loud, in my headset, “And this is why I hate playing these kinds of games”. Thanks for the demo.’

Here’s a thought, Amanda, have you tried to “git gud?”

“Now, granted he thought I was his “dev buddy” by accident, but holy shit was that a mistake,” she added.

No PR around. Just dudes showing me a game and rolling the dice on being rude.

This is an all-too-common radfem tactic, they infiltrate subcultures and end up controlling their products by division. Outside the realm of fantasy, this woman has nothing to do with gaming, but she can self-identify as a gaming journalist because she happens to own a vagina. In reality, feminists are just there to influence what is being produced, wage a popularity contest in hopes of monetary reward and social status, and bend the entire industry to their will.

Imagine being such a sheltered, self-important twat, that you think getting tea-bagged in a game is worth anyone’s sympathy or concern, let alone getting someone fired over. Not to mention the fact that this sort of tripe is making a mockery of actual sexual assault victims, and stealing the spotlight from those who actually deserve a platform from which to shed light on predatory behavior.

This is what it’s come to. In a few years there will be virtual rape and virtual molestation charges filed against just about anyone who ever played Halo 3 online or Call of Duty. Replace “gaming” with “professional” and “journalist” with “victim.” This is why nobody takes feminism seriously anymore. Pixel me perplexed as to how this digital fascism has managed to become the norm.
