If you live in a bubble and read only the New York Times or watch CNN and MSNBC, your view of the country is severely limited. You have to either be a political zealot or uninterested in reality to limit your intake to these highly biased mediums.

For those like that, here’s some reality:

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics last week, the number of people working has increased by 395,000 from January to April, 2018. By contrast, during the final full year of Barack Obama’s presidency in 2016, that number was 15,000.

The number of unemployed people in the country has reached a low of 6.9 million, the lowest since May 2007. That was seven months before the recession began.

The unemployment rate hit a 16-year-low of 4.3 percent in April. But a better indicator of labor market strength is the U-6 unemployment rate, a broader measure that many economists consider the real unemployment rate. It counts people as unemployed for an entire year, rather than just 30 days after they give up their job search.

At 8.4 percent, this measure has dropped a full percentage point since January. It is now at its lowest level since November 2007, the month before the recession began.

That is not the only thing many Americans have not been reading. The president is finding success on the foreign front as well.  North Korea and South Korea are reportedly preparing to announce an official end to their 68-year war. That could lead to the de-nuclearizing of the Korean Peninsula, and South Korean president Moon Jae-in credits President Trump with helping bring about peace talks.

North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un and South Korean president Moon Jae-in will meet next week to discuss an end to the war. President Trump will soon follow. The two countries have technically been at war for 68-years since the Korean War began in June 1950.

The economy, unemployment and foreign policy. These three issues have been major triumphs for the Trump administration and the American people. Yet all the media seems to cover are false allegations about Russian collusion and affairs with women like Stormy Daniels.

It would seem the media and bitter Democrats are about to receive a wake-up call this November. The American people love a leader who produces. That is what this president is doing.
